We are currently seeking a vibrant and confident Showroom Sales Consultant, with a keen interest in design and the broader design community, to take up a key role at our new Waterloo Showroom.

The primary focus of this role is to help drive retail and commercial sales opportunities through the showroom, providing excellent customer service, achieving sales targets and representing the public face of the Tait brand. The role also provides important administrative support for the Sales Manager. This includes providing prompt and professional quotations and communication with clients, processing orders and following sales through to delivery.

To be considered for this position the applicant will have:

  • Experience in a design based retail sales role. Industry experience in the design sector will be looked upon favourably
  • A demonstrated understanding of the design and specifier market
  • A proven track record in achievement of sales targets
  • A proven ability to sell product based on brand, position and benefits
  • Showroom experience including store presentation, stock and display management
  • Excellent attention to detail and be organised and efficient
  • The ability to generate quotes, sales orders and follow-up enquiries in a timely manner
  • Strong background in Sales and Customer service
  • High levels of energy and self-motivation
  • Well presented with excellent oral and communication skills
  • Highly developed computer skills including – Outlook, Excel, Order Processing software and

Database Management

  • Operate as part of a team

Note: Regular weekend work will be required (either Saturday or Sunday)
