An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate SEO/SEM Specialist with a strong interest and experience in search engine marketing. We are a niche design and architectural media house that produces award-winning events, print and online magazines in the Asia Pacific region with offices nationally in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

To be successful in this role you’ll not only need to be up to date with the latest Google trends in SEO & SEM (Adwords) but also need to demonstrate a proven track records of success in SEO. Being AdWords certified is also highly regarded.

Please note: This is full time, 3 month contract.

Roles & Responsibilities
This role would include but not limited to:

  • Identify SEO opportunities for the content we create and distribute
  • Conduct SEO Site Audits
  • Comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities
  • Optimise content created internally, and upload in CMS
  • Very strong ON page strategies
  • Off-site optimisation strategies and link analysis
  • Develop content-led strategies to build site authority
  • Monthly reporting and data analysis
  • SEO website migration strategies
  • Manage and track SEO campaign progress.
  • Creating document templates and documenting SEO processes
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in search, analytics and technologies.
  • Analyse, monitor, and report on lead generation performance from click to engagement
  • Regular contact with the client via email, phone and face-to-face
  • Educate and keep clients in the loop on our strategies and tactics

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • 1-2 years previous SEO & SEM experience – agency or have managed multiple clients.
  • Working Knowledge of MOZ, Ahrefs, Semrush and other SEO tools.
  • Experience optimising SEM campaigns through ad copy, keywords, geo-targeting and landing page optimisations
  • A clear understanding of how search engines and websites work.
  • Passion for online marketing, search in particular
  • Strong Analytical, logic and mathematical skills
  • Strong understanding of HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • Excel skills
  • Be efficient, organised and task oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects at once.
  • A positive attitude
  • Keen willingness to learn and grow within the team
  • Well versed with Google Analytics
