CRITERIA is looking for an experienced Sales Consultant.

Working with exceptional products and servicing leading Interior Designers and Architects you will be responsible for managing end to end sales, the development of customer relationships.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager the successful applicant will be joining a progressive workplace and contributing to our ongoing success in an exciting growth phase.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales targets and managing scoping to delivery to existing and new clients
  • Assist clients in the selection of furniture, lighting and other CRITERIA products
  • Liaise with clients via: email, phone, showroom and/or at their studio
  • Travel interstate to participate in client presentations and other events as required
  • Entertain clients within and outside normal business hours as required
  • Participate in monthly sales reviews with National Sales Manager and team to discuss current sales including pipeline, assessing budgets as well as growing sales
  • Participate in direct product training with suppliers on a monthly basis (or other period as determined by the National Sales Manager)
  • Contribute to developing and enhancing Criteria processes and performance
  • Maintain customer relationship management (CRM)

Competencies:

  • 5+ years in sales or related positions
  • Experience and appreciation of luxury and design is highly desired
  • Excellent personnel, administrative and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, while maintaining/generating positive relationships
  • A good understanding of sales systems and processes (for example Xero, CRM)
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong written, oral and presentation skills
  • Able to actively participate and engage at all levels
  • Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
  • Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback
  • Encouraged and comfortable in an open, honest and positive team environment
