Based in our flagship Melbourne Showroom, we have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and dynamic individual who is passionate about furniture, interior design and the highest levels of customer service to join our vibrant and supportive team.

The role is a full-time position with the opportunity to further develop a professional career within the architecture and design industry. This role suits an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who relishes a fast-paced environment and possesses the innate ability to think creatively and strategically. You will be an integral part of the Melbourne projects team working alongside Australia’s leading architects and interior designers.

Desired skills & experience

  • A passion for high end design and the interiors / architecture industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Able to apply a common sense commercial approach to problem solving
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
  • Must be able to work Saturdays on a rotary basis
  • Must have the right to live and work in Australia

Primary responsibilities

  • Greeting, assisting and inspiring our showroom clients
  • Establishing and building strong relationships with existing clients and create new business opportunities
  • Preparing design drawings, client presentations and pricing information
  • Assist clients and guide them in the selection of suitable solution of joinery and furniture packages
  • Actively support and promote Hub’s key brands and suppliers
  • Working effectively in a small team
