Indesign Media Asia Pacific is a niche design and architectural media house that produces award-winning events, print and online magazines in the Asia Pac region with offices in Sydney, Melbourne Singapore and Hong Kong.

Overview Of The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and customer focused Event Production Manager to fill a newly created role. Reporting to the Event Director this role has touch points across all areas of the business, working in collaboration with the sales, and marketing teams to deliver a busy schedule of exhibitions, gala dinners and conferences.

Responsibilities Include

  • Sourcing quotes, tracking budgets and post event accounts follow up
  • Management of critical paths for event delivery
  • Coordination of event registration with third party suppliers
  • Servicing partners and exhibitors with event specific information and technical support
  • Management of onsite event personnel
  • Operational management of events and exhibitions
  • Supplier and contractor management including AV, rigging, stand builders etc.

Skills

  • 2-3 years event coordination experience, large scale exhibitions preferable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Initiative and advanced problem solving skills
  • Accurate record keeping and attention to detail
  • Advanced organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and suppliers
  • An attitude that fosters collaboration and team work

Salary commensurate with experience.
