Commercial Sales Manager




An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial / B2B sales professional with a passion for art and proven sales record in our Richmond Showroom. This is a 2-3 day per week contract role.

LUMAS is an international art retailer located in Richmond, Victoria. We are looking for an experienced (3-5 years+) commercial sales consultant to join our team.

LUMAS is the world leader in Contemporary Photographic Art. We are committed to the idea of developing a broader audience of art-buyers and collectors. Representing more than 3,000 works by over 300 international artists, LUMAS serves retail customers, as well as design industry and small and large businesses. LUMAS has over 40 Galleries worldwide, in locations such as New York, London, Paris, Vienna, Zurich and Berlin. We host exhibitions and events each year, in addition to openings, lectures, private previews and other events.

What you will bring:

  • Passion for art.
  • Extensive sales experience in relevant design industry fields, such as interior design, luxury, fashion, art, design / interior consulting or products requiring explanation.
  • Proven sales record and ability to achieve targets.
  • Ability to work autonomously, develop new client relationships and able to do so without supervision.
  • You will bring with you an extensive database of commercial and design industry contacts.
  • Excellent sales and communication skills, loyalty and a proactive work ethic.
  • High degree of engagement and the willingness to familiarize with your new environment.
  • Your passion about addressing different customers in an elegant manner.
  • A result-oriented way of working, an entrepreneurial spirit combined with a hands-on attitude, as well being an ambassador for the brand and company as a whole.
