We have an exciting opportunity for 2 experienced Assistant Manager / Sales Consultant roles with a passion for art and photography and proven sales record. The roles are for our Richmond and Chadstone soon to be opened Showroom. One role is part time and one is full time.

LUMAS is a new international retailer with our first Australian store in Richmond, Victoria. We are looking for experienced Assistant Gallery Managers to join our growing team.

LUMAS is the world leader in Contemporary Photographic Art and is committed to the idea of developing a broader audience of art-buyers and collectors. We are passionate about art, we believe in making art affordable and accessible for everyone without having to spend a lot of money. A new and accessible philosophy to offer authentic and affordable art lets all art enthusiasts discover photography in the form of high quality editions by established artists and promising talents. Representing more than 3,000 works by almost 300 local and international artists, LUMAS serves retail customers, as well as small and large businesses.

LUMAS has over 40 Galleries worldwide, in locations such as New York, London, Paris, Vienna, Zurich and Berlin. All Galleries host exhibitions and events per year, in addition to openings, lectures, private previews and other events.

What you will bring:

  • Extensive experience in high- end retail fields such as interior design, luxury, fashion, art, design / interior consulting or products requiring explanation.
  • Proven sales record and ability to achieve targets.
  • Previous management and leadership experience is a must.
  • Excellent sales and communication skills, loyalty and a proactive work ethic.
  • High degree of engagement and the willingness to familiarize with your new environment.
  • Your passion about addressing different customers in an elegant manner.
  • A result-oriented way of working, an entrepreneurial spirit combined with a hands-on attitude, as well being a sales ambassador for the brand and company as a whole.
