McIldowie Partners Architects is looking for a full time, permanent person with a confident persona, who is friendly, well presented and has a professional and mature approach to reception and administrative support.

Your duties and responsibilities will be maintaining the smooth day to day operations of the business (Monday to Friday). You will work closely with the Directors and other staff and undertake all aspects of administration work including:

General administration and reception duties

  • PA duties to the two Directors
  • Managing and redirecting incoming calls and enquiries
  • Processing of minutes / letters / certificates etc
  • Preparing and updating Expressions of Interest and managing the image library
  • Filing and archiving
  • Managing reception
  • Liaising with staff to assist the smooth progress of jobs and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Be enthusiastic, willing to take responsibility and strive to exceed expectations
  • Have proven experience in similar roles and be willing to learn
  • Show initiative and a mature work ethic
  • Be naturally proactive with an eye for process improvements
  • Have good time management and communication skills
  • Be a people person with a good sense of humour
  • Have solid experience with Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign experience advantageous
