This role will be renumerated very generously with many perks that will be discussed in more detail with the relevant applicants

The key focus of this role will be to manage and develop enduring relationships within the commercial furniture sector. You will promote the range of products available from ThinkingWorks and influence the market to include them in project specifications.

The role responsibilities will include:

  • Developing long term relationships with new and existing furntiure dealers & A+D practices in Victoria
  • Identify and successfully increase new opportunities using tender/market reports (such as Estimate One, Property Daily) & market knowledge
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and assist in specification and preparation of quotes where necessary
  • Ensure the dealers & A+D market have a thorough understanding about ThinkingWorks and its products
  • Update the company database with changes to customer contacts on a daily basis
  • Keep up to date with current industry and competitor activity

  • A structured and strategic approach to identifying customer and project opportunities
  • Ability to use networking and presentations to increase brand awareness to targeted customer groups
  • Ability to have a proactive business development approach (cold calling) and to be able to introduce ThinkingWorks to new & existing clients
  • Highly developed customer satisfaction focus
  • Highly developed presentation skills
  • Effective ability to influence product specifications
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Office skills, plus CRM system experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
  • Possess an outgoing and ‘can do’ personality
  • Target of 15 face to face meetings per week


Minimum requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in specification sales to the commercial furniture/A+D industry
