We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales & Design Consultant to join our team, based in Melbourne. As an integral part of our Retail Residential Sales Teams, you will be responsible for end-to-end retail, residential and trade client sales and you will be working with the some of the world’s most historic and design-oriented brands.
Reporting to the National State Manager and Retail Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
-End-to-end retail, residential and trade client sales
-Assisting clients with selecting furniture for their interiors
-Create presentations to present to clients for their homes
-Track current orders to ensure client expectations are met and that goods are delivered on time
-Assist with client deliveries and in-house placement of furnishing where appropriate or required
-Maintain and develop a residential client pipeline for leads and orders
-Attend industry related Mobilia and corporate events as required (these may occur outside of normal operating hours)
-Assist clients collecting their orders from the showroom
Eligibility & Skills?
-Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-end customer service / sales or relevant interior experience in a residential market
-Be able to demonstrate experience in reading architectural and interior design plans and understand architectural / interior design documentation
-Show a knowledge of product design
-Have an understanding of spatial planning
-Demonstrate an understanding of materials and colour (including fabrics, timber and other)
-Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously
-Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work and your career
-Demonstrate an ability to communicate layouts (at a minimum by hand) and put together presentations for client review
