Sales Support to National Sales Manager

Full Time
Job Description

We are looking for:

An effective multi-tasker who is organised and detail oriented to become ownworld’s dedicated Sales Support to our National Sales Manager.

This role will closely follow the National Sales Manager’s workflow; from adopting client briefs, formulating draft quotes, processing orders and producing reports.

You will require a comprehensive grasp of ownworld’s internal, electronic operating system in which vigorous training will be provided as well as a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote. This position is all about accuracy and gatekeeping.

Sales Support To National Sales Manager is charged with keeping ownworld’s fabric, finishes & brochure library highly organised and current. You will also help maintain the Showroom space, making sure it’s beautifully curated at all times, according to expected architect & designer visits or special events. Detail is everything when working in design, so your thoroughness will be put to good use by maintaining a sense of pride in the space. At times, you may be asked to help walk-in clients so that you too are gradually building your own Sales abilities.

Ideally, you come from a design background. The successful candidate has the potential to forge a career into Sales themselves at some future point.

You will work under the guidance of the National Sales Manager, together with a supportive team in a positive work culture.

More about you:

•   Meticulous, accurate and caring about detail

•   Supportive and empathetic to the pressures of a Sales environment

•   A troubleshooter – able to identify and resolve problems before they become issues

•   Able to multi-task and prioritise

•   Clear verbal and written communicator

•   A positive “can do” attitude

•   A good knowledge of furniture componentry, materials and finishes would be advantageous

Please send your CV to Peter Beikmanis at Initial enquiries welcome to 0402 005 550.

Applications will be treated with strict confidence. Candidates must be an Australian resident or hold the required working visa. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
