Job Description

LOOKING FOR 

An effective multi-tasker who is organised and detail oriented to become ownworld’s dedicated Sales Support to our National Sales Team.

This role closely follows the Sales Team’s workflow; from adopting client briefs, sourcing manufacturer costings and leadtimes, placing stock holds and formulating draft quotes. Possibly the most vital aspect of the role is the careful cross-checking of information once a quote is leading towards order stage. This involves meticulous review of client purchase orders and schedules and supplier quotes to ensure complete accuracy carries over to our Operations Department.

You will require a comprehensive grasp of ownworld’s internal, electronic operating system in which vigorous training will be provided as well as a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote. Great benefit will be gained if you have skill in graphics and layouts so that you can support the Sales Team by preparing inspirational client presentations.

Sales Support is charged with keeping ownworld’s fabric, finishes & brochure library highly organised and current. You will also help maintain the Showroom space, making sure it’s beautifully curated at all times, according to expected architect & designer visits or special events. Detail is everything when working in design, so your thoroughness will be put to good use by maintaining a sense of pride in the space.

From the direct client side, you will contribute to helping walk-in customers with product information and pricing, so that you too are gradually building your own Sales abilities.

A design background and knowledge of commercial furniture, finishes and componentry would be a strong advantage as would prior experience in the use of specialised, furniture-focused software.

You will work under the guidance of the National Sales Manager, together with a supportive team in a positive work culture.
