Job Description



We are looking for:

An effective multi-tasker who is organised and detail oriented to become ownworld’s dedicated Sales Support to our National Sales Team.

This role closely follows the Sales Team’s workflow; from adopting client briefs, sourcing manufacturer costings and leadtimes, placing stock holds and formulating draft quotes. Possibly the most vital aspect of the role is the careful cross-checking of information once a quote is about to convert to order, ensuring complete accuracy carries over to our Operations Department.

Great benefit will be gained if you have skill in graphics and layouts so that you can support the Sales Team by preparing inspirational client presentations.

The candidate will also be responsible for keeping the Sales Team’s supplier Resource Library impeccably up-to-date so that all fabrics, finishes and catalogues are at their fingertips.

Creatively, you will be charged with maintaining ownworld’s Sydney showroom environment to the highest possible standard and will contribute to the professional servicing of our walk-in customers.

A design background and knowledge of commercial furniture, finishes and componentry would be a strong advantage as would prior experience in the use of specialised, furniture-focused software.

You will work under the guidance of our National Sales Manager, together with a dynamic and supportive team.
