Job Description
Our mission is to grow our product offering with proudly designed and made in Melbourne products. We are looking for a passionate and motivated sales and marketing manager with previous experience in the A&D industry in a sales/account manager and marketing support role. You will be responsible for all product enquiries and product sales, in addition, provide support for coordinating sales orders, fulfilment of these orders through to the despatch of goods. You will need to be driven, able to work autonomously as well as part of the team. You are able to contribute in a marketing capacity strategically with solid experience in developing and delivering creative content across a broad range of platforms to generate leads and enquiries whilst championing our brand.
This role would be suitable for someone looking to build and establish their career within a studio focused on design and its people. Your day to day will involve sales management and client management, creating content and overseeing marketing activities to meet budget and project timeframes. This role requires your attention to detail, organisational and communication skills. Naturally, you are intuitive and a team player who is competent on Microsoft Office, Social Platforms and CRM systems.
Please note this is a Part-time role with the view to grow into a Full-time role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Respond, update and maintain CRM system and all product sales enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face
- Organise and prepare quotations, invoices, specifications, proposals and showroom presentations
- Coordinate all stages of an order from order confirmation, fulfilment and delivery
- Lead content creation for marketing and sales purposes for the calendar year
- Manage, create and publish original, high quality content on websites, newsletters and social platforms
- Copywriting, strategic input and event management
- Support Directors and champion brand in a sales and marketing capacity
- Strategically plan and manage product sales and marketing activities
- Assist in all marketing activities for the studio across online and offline platforms
- Assist in design awards submissions and database management
- Assist with website updates for marketing and products
- Work in conjunction with the Director’s to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s
- Fundamentally, represent our brand, who we are and what we believe in
Required Experience
- Experience in sales or similar role in the A&D industry with a proven track record of exceptional customer service
- Excellent customer service approach, communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to connect and build strong relationships
- Confident, driven and passionate about design
- 5+ years in a sales/account management and marketing role
- Strong background in writing, communications and market research
- A sound understanding of marketing, social media, branding and the creative process
- Previous experience liaising with senior stakeholders and assisting in establishing priorities, timelines and deadlines
- Required Attributes
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Administration and knowledge of CRM systems and Product Management systems
- A strong communicator (written and verbal), highly organised with strong attention to detail
- An interest in furniture and interior design is an advantage
- You must be a team player – strong in collaboration but able to work autonomously
- You are a problem solver with a solid understanding of time management and prioritisation
