With the opening of a state-of-the-art showroom in Melbourne, this is a newly created role. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will build and lead the Melbourne based sales team successfully taking on the following responsibilities:

Key responsibilities

•Build and lead the Melbourne based sales team

•Develop, implement, and analyse sales strategies

•Establish and build strong relationships with existing clients and create new business opportunities

•Identify and qualify sales opportunities and leads to achieve/exceed annual sales targets

•Distribute leads accordingly amongst internal teams

•Manage budgets, calculations, and profit margins

•Develop and prepare design presentations to clients

•Consult with designers, architects and end-customers for design and sales briefs

•Provide outstanding service and support to customers visiting the showroom

•Organise showroom events with the marketing team for clients and specifiers

Essential Skills and Experience

•At least 10 years’ industry experience or related industry experience

•At least 5 years’ experience in a senior sales position

•Proven leader in a sales environment with the ability to drive a team’s performance to consistently meet and exceed targets

•Complete understanding of general Pipeline/Sales Management – Individual & Team

•Proven experience managing budgets, controlling costs and growing profitability.

•Have established relationships with A&D specifiers – key personnel at Architectural, Design practices, Builders and Developers.

•Exceptional attention to detail

•Strong design and documentation ability

•Strong communication & presentation skills and an ability to win over people

•MS Office and CRM proficiency
