As we find ourself drawn further into the furniture category, we are seeking expressions of interest for a Furniture focused Showroom/Commercial and Interior Sales consultant at our Head Office/Sydney Store.
The role involves showroom sales to both Trade and Retail clients. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to interpret their brief and assist them with furniture and accessories selections to fulfil their interiors design needs. Excellent customer service skills are a must.
•Understand the point of difference of our key original brands and inspire customers and the design community alike
•Establish a trade network whilst also exceeding customer expectations at retail sales on the Showroom floor
•Manage regular, ongoing presentations to new and existing residential trade clients, to grow our audience.
•Manage projects from enquiry through to final delivery (working with the Head Office team)
•You will have a high level of product and technical knowledge and be eager to learn about new product releases
•Assist in styling and presentation, along with general showroom maintenance and upkeep
•Assist in training the sales team on individual core product values and technical details.
•Lead generation, coordination, quoting and order processing with the Head Office team
•Develop, excite and lead the sales team regarding furniture and interior-design clients.
•Weekly activity reporting at zoom managers meeting with Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne stores
•Enjoy good and precise communication, leaving nothing to chance
•Experience in the design/furniture Industry is a must for this role.
The successful candidate must have a current NSW driver’s licence.
This is a full time role with at least one weekend day in the showroom.
