ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone to join our fun and passionate design studio as a Sales Coordinator. We produce original Australian furniture, selling mainly to interior designers and architects in Australia and Internationally. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with friendly, efficient and helpful service.
As a Sales Coordinator you will be in charge of looking after enquires and updating clients on their orders. The role is a mix of working autonomously as well as working closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator + Design, Marketing and Production teams. Being part of a small growing team, you will be included in many aspects of the business and will be encouraged to suggest improvements or systemic changes. We value input from all team members and enjoy working together to achieve our goals.
Respond to commercial enquiries.
Maintain the CRM system/sales pipeline with precise customer and project information.
Provide resources and information to clients – primarily pricing, lead times and product information.
Coordinate with the design and production team on any custom furniture requests.
Generate quotes for clients and for the Sales Manager.
Enter and coordinate sales orders, working closely with the production team to ensure seamless delivery.
Coordinate deliveries with the client and production team.
Coordinate feedback from clients to the design team for new product development.
Collect data for reporting.
Research new lead and project opportunities and establish new pipeline contacts.
Meet clients and present.
Manage SpecifierPortal applicants.
Arrange furniture samples for clients.
Organise showroom visits and client presentations.
Attend key industry events on occasion.
Calculate freight and shipping costs using our vendors.
Proven track record in a dynamic customer service role.
Administration and online systems experience.
Excellent presentation skills, phone and email manner.
Experience with managing a CRM / sales pipeline.
Experience in the Architectural and Design market (preferable, but not essential).
Passion for design, preferably with a design background.
Down to earth, fun and ambitious.
Proven ability to achieve targets and results driven.
Must be able to tell one good joke a week through either memes, gifs or interpretive dance.
