The role

We are on the search for a charismatic and passionate senior sales consultant who is interested in helping us build and develop our sales growth from our Surry Hills showroom. The role requires someone who is passionate about design and a desire to understand our products. You will receive training on our products at our manufacturing plant and brought into the design process to make sure you have a solid understanding how and why our products are made. This will allow you to successfully assist clients with product selection and technical knowledge.

The role requires someone who is creative and motivated to provide our clients with more of a service than just selling. Relationships development with clients is paramount and so the role requires socialising and visitation as well as frequent remote contact.

Tasks and accountabilities

  • Fostering relationships with clients
  • Create strategies to meet sales targets and KPI’s
  • Manage projects from enquiry to delivery with the support of other sales and logistic staff
  • Work with sales support staff to help create new leads and develop client database
  • Work with operations team manage sales orders and ensure on time delivery
  • Effective note taking on client interactions through our CRM system
  • Participate in showroom sales, events and general presentation
  • Regular travel to customers for presentations, sample delivery and socialising
  • Prepare sales reports and projections at weekly meeting
  • Constantly present ideas for growth and development of sales

About You

  • Passionate about design with a background in design or architecture being highly beneficial
  • Ability to read plans, elevation, manufacturing drawings and the ability to use 3D software is an advantage
  • Comprehensive knowledge in sales and business development in the furniture, fixtures or lighting industry
  • Creative and motivated person who enjoys responsibility and collaborating as part of a team
  • Experience using CRM software to track pipeline and sales. Experience with Odoo being beneficial
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and wanting to progress in their career with taking on more responsibility 

This is a full-time permanent position and applicants must hold current NSW driving license
