Report to:Group Sales Director

Position Summary

?Effectively manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts to ensure their campaigns are run on time and perform as expected to ensure ongoing relationships and renewal spend

?Source and close new business opportunities

?Position A&D as the leading masthead within the industry

?Regularly attend face-to-face meetings, video meetings and industry events

?Ensure sales targets are consistently met and exceeded

Key Accountabilities:

?Effectively position and sell the full suite of our product offering encompassing print, digital, events, podcast, social, awards program and content marketing to both existing and new clients

?Manage revenue generation from existing clients (renewal & upsell)

?Develop and deepen relationships with customers by understanding their business needs

and provide customers with appropriate solutions

?Identify, prospect and close new business opportunities

?Account Management vs New Business approx. 60/40 split

?Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

?Adhere to monthly sales activity and reporting KPI’s

?Maintain sales pipeline data and forecasts via Salesforce CRM

?Develop a deep understanding and expertise in the Architecture & Design industry via event attendance, networking and desktop research

?Effectively work alongside editorial, production and design to help achieve team and company objectives

Desired Skills & Experience

?2-4 years digital media/agency sales experience, or closely related industry/sell

?Strong and engaging sales methodology

?Proven ability to hunt and close business in a solution sales approach

?Motivated to earn and succeed

?Ability to effectively multitask in fast moving sales environment

?Professional and client outcome focused

?Ability to engage and debate with Marketing Managers/Brand Mangers/Business Owners

?Strong time management and account planning skills

?Excellent written and verbal communication skills

?Knowledge or experience of the Building, Architecture and Design industry preferred, but not essential

Other requirements:

?Right to live and work in Australia

?Valid driver license and own vehicle

?Ability to travel interstate
