Cult Design sells the finest furniture and lighting from some of the biggest names in design today, from Danish masters such as Carl Hansen and Fritz Hansen to the great Italian collections of Poltrona Frau and Zanotta. In addition, we are helping to lead the Australian design movement with our own brand NAU. We have been in business for over 20 years, and are proud to work across 5 showrooms in 4 countries.
We are looking for a talented individual to help us continue to grow within the Sydney market. In this position, you will be working within the sales team to deliver exceptional service to delight our customers.
About the role
Achieves or exceeds given sales targets for the commercial/trade side of the business while maintaining agreed margins. Visits clients regularly to roadshow products, discuss projects, and build relationships. Establishes Cult’s team and products in the marketplace as representing outstanding quality, value, and service in home furniture and office solutions.
Core objectives include:
Achieve or better an agreed personal monthly sales budget while meeting agreed gross profit margins
Achieve an average 2 showroom promotional functions/visits per week for A and B tier clients
Establish, manage, and maintain a customer development plan for all A and B tier clients including key personal details, units, entertainment, and target objectives
Achieve an average of 50% direct time in the marketplace
Achieve an average of 15 quality client calls/visits per week
Collate a range of performance reports for the State Sales Manager including current quote pipeline, business development plans, and sales growth

Skills and experience
Formal Sales Training Desirable
Current Driver’s License
Extensive sales background
Minimum 2 years commercial sales experience in the design industry desirable
Understanding of the commercial procurement process required with a strong emphasis on maintaining specification and driving new opportunities during the project timeline
