THE JOB
To grow and develop sales through existing and new relationships, whilst maintaining the ZETR brand core values and offering the highest standard of service to all clients.
Your day will be focussed on sourcing new leads, conducting face to face meetings with architectural / design firms, builders, developers, trades and electrical wholesalers in the nominated territory and developing ZETR’s sales growth.
You will be guided by our National Sales Manager (based in Melbourne) and supported by the HQ team, located at our HQ in Mona Vale, NSW.
We are looking for someone vibrant and enthusiastic with a high level of confidence, who also has a natural talent to build rapport with clients. You may have experience working within either the electrical, lighting, furniture, architectural or design industries, however you may also have had previous sales experience in other industries and are looking to make a change. We are happy to provide the relevant industry training to bring you up to speed.
This is a sales role, and sales takes a special person, so you will be naturally open, curious, achievement orientated and not afraid to pick up the phone and chat to anyone.
But above all you must LOVE design
LOCATION
As with all sales roles we know you are achieving if you spend the majority of your time on the road meeting clients.
You will work from home between meetings and be based throughout the day in either Sydney or Melbourne CBD meeting clients.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports National Sales Manager
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Grow project sales to achieve personal and team budgets.
Develop warm and professional relationships with Interior Designers, Architects and end users
Build, develop and grow our Electrical wholesaler, Trade and retailer relationships
Day to day fielding of customer enquiries, quoting, follow up of quotes in timely manner
Provide prompt response to both internal and external enquiries
Maintain awareness of market trends, understanding the broader industry, market developments and ?monitoring what local competitors, direct and indirect, are doing
Maintain brand identity through appearance, presentation and language
Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
Accurate account management of all client details through the online CRM system, Zendesk ‘Base’
Ensure all rep. activity is logged in the online CRM system
Monthly reporting on sales and activity to Sales Manager, to be submitted no later than the 5th of each month
Work with the National Sales Manager to negotiate and win key project specification.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Proven sales ability, within Lighting/electrical/design industry
Ability to build positive working relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills
Computer literate
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Sales experience within Lighting/electrical/design industry | minimum 3years
Certificate/Diploma within Interior Design industry (desirable)
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Growth of sales against set budgets, both personal and team
Personal and sales teams processes to be completed in a timely manner
Quotes processed and dispatched on the same day (received prior to 4pm)
Follow ups to be completed on a weekly basis
Preparation of Quarterly sales plan
Prompt submission of Monthly sales and activity report ?
REMUNNERATION
A solid base salary plus car allowance and quarterly commission on offer.
