Working amongst a dynamic national team of sales and design professionals you will be representing the premium product in its category and collaborating with Australia?s leaders in design and construction.

About the Company

The company provides 100% solid engineered European oak boards to some of Australia’s leading architects and designers.

Their commercial centreof gravity is luxury residential, blue chip workplace and premium retail and hospitality.

The business has worked on some of Australia?s biggest and most dynamic architectural projects and is fast becoming a leader in the industry.

Duties

Consulting with Architects and Designers from early conceptual stages through to full design, QS, tender, installation and final handover.

Provide product and technical assistance to builders and contractors.

Grow business within existing accounts held in the building sector.

Carry projects through from specification ?quoting tender stage and then securing final sale contract.

Consult with end-user clients in the showroom to secure sales and gather new leads.

Manage and grow a portfolio of highly qualified key clients.

Act as brand ambassador amongst your portfolio of clients and generate ideas and opportunities for further engagement with the product and brand beyond the sale.

Ensure data in CRM system is accurate, up-to-date. Use reporting capabilities within CRM to plan and focus your portfolio growth strategies and identify any weak points to act upon.

Achieve sales and behavioural KPI’s and ultimately exceed sales targets.

Day to Day… 

You could start the morning on site at a multi-million-dollar residential build walking through the scale of supply. The next stop could be delivering a breakfast product presentation to 6 architects in the inner city followed by an end-user consult back at the showroom to assist them with final colour selection.

After you take a lunch break (away from your desk!) you could be preparing quotes for tenders on a tier 1 workplace project then going through your CRM reporting to identify important calls you need to make to convert a few more quotes into sales.

Ultimately there is variety to the role,and you will have control over how you design your day to achieve the best results. You must be comfortable with change and able to adapt to a broad range of clients and project stakeholders.

Skills and Experience 

2-3+ years proven architectural specification sales experience ?direct sales experience essential.

Client exposure across high-end residential, commercial workplace/retail/hospitality in both A&D and builder segments is highly desirable.

Takes an entrepreneurial approach to business development ?out-of-the-box thinker -driven -dynamic -ambitious -an energised personality.

Strong portfolio of completed projects over the past 18 months.

Team-oriented.

Well-presented and an excellent communicator.
