With the opening of a state-of-the-art showroom in Armadale, this is a newly created role. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of the growth of the Pure brand in Melbourne with an appreciation of design whilst possessing excellent sales and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

•Providing a high level of customer service for all A&D clients, A&D referred clientele, as well as walk-in clients for residential sales.

•You will be able to qualify the client and assist them with their selections of goods for their interiors as well as refer to the Pure design studio where applicable.

•Track current orders to ensure client expectations are met and that goods are delivered on time

•The A&D Sale Consultant in conjunction with the Sales Manager will create events for the A&D market in the showroom (these may occur out of normal operating hours)

•Assist with client deliveries and in-house placement of furnishing where appropriate or required

•Develop and maintain a client list to generate a revenue pipeline for leads and orders

•Attend industry and corporate events as required (these may occur outside of normal operating hours)

•Follow up email enquiries and provide quotations and relevant information for clients in a timely manner

•Attend to all customer service issues effectively and punctually.

•Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales and invoicing targets

•Manage budgets, calculations, and profit margins

•Maintain a high level of product and brand knowledge

•Help to introduce and promote new collections to the A&D and end user market.

Essential Skills and Experience

•At least 5 years’ industry experience or related industry experience

•At least 2 years’ experience in a sales position

•Strong communication & presentation skills and an ability to win over people

•Have established relationships with A&D specifiers – key personnel at Architectural, Design practices, Builders and Developers.

•The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

•MS Office and CRM proficiency

•Exceptional attention to detail

•A passion for design products

•Positive can-do attitude, willing to assist in all areas of the business to achieve the desired result

•Ability to work on Saturdays
