An opportunity has arisen in our Richmond showroom for a motivated Account Manager to work over both brands.  The role will involve working with trade clients in the retail, fashion, residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.

Mei Picchi/Meizai is seeking a dynamic people-oriented person who enjoys identifying new business opportunities, strategic and consultative selling and building relationships to join our team. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team working for a national fast moving company within the retail, furniture and design industry.

This is a full time position.  

Your main responsibilities will include:

?Providing both showroom and external consulting with trade clients.

?Identifying and developing new business opportunities across a multitude of sectors

?Managing a number of current key client accounts and strategically planning growth strategies

?Answering customer calls/emails, taking orders and opening up opportunities.

?Placing orders and following them through to completion to make sure goods/projects are delivered on time

?Working individually and as a team to achieve sales targets

You will possess the following: 

?Previous sales experience in the industry is essential.

?Have the ability to identify new business opportunities with a strategic sales planning approach

?Initiative, ambition and confidence to build relationships with new and existing clients. 

?Strong consulting skills, a proven track record in closing a sale and an ability to achieve sales targets.

?Have a hands-on attitude with high attention to detail.

?Have excellent communication and presentation skills to present your design solutions clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

?Enjoy being part of a dynamic team.

?Have the ability to work quickly and well under pressure in a deadline driven environment.

?Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects and prioritise workloads.
