I am a professional Interior Designer who would like to join your team. I recently worked in an Architecture company in Sydney and I am interested by any vacant position within your firm.

From my résumé and portfolio attached, you will find that I have also worked overseas for 13 months in Mauritius and Malaysia. From my past work experiences, I had the opportunity to work for Interior Design, Architecture and Construction firms, and within the projects undertaken, I didn't only do the interior design, but I also did a bit of architecture and landscape. 

I also have the knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards, when it comes to design and construction. I am proficient at softwares such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator), Revit, 3Ds Max, Microsoft Office and iMovie.

Throughout all my skills gained from my work experiences, I:

1. turned concepts into realisation (plans, sections, elevations, detailed joinery and 3D visualisation),

2. presented the designs to the clients,

3. went to showrooms to select materials/colours and to take samples,

4. prepared sample boards, to present to the clients,

5. calculated the amount of materials needed, 

6. prepared the trade papers (sales order, quotes and tax invoice), 

7. went to the site for measurement and to ensure the construction was being done accordingly following the plans,

8. exchanged emails between the clients or suppliers, and replying to phone calls.

I worked on various projects such as residential, age cared facilities, nursing homes, educational, retail and offices. Working on various spaces expanded my knowledge on interior spaces which made me versatile. 

I have exceptional knowledge in designing spaces that are meaningful and memorable. I have a strong belief that innovative ideas and designs shape people’s lives, influences their behavior and have a purpose in their existence. As a result, my work and experience has the individual, community and environment in mind.
