I have over 5 years experience in a marketing position, and 3 of them also being in a customer service role within a small company. My role has been varied over the years working as the sole local marketer, which means I have gained a lot of knowledge over a range of marketing areas, such as digital advertising, SEO, website management, social media, coordination of events and trade shows, management of offline collateral. Working closely with internal departments to implement a marketing campaign and strategy in line with business requirements and KPIs. I also worked closely with external agencies such as website developers and advertising agencies for print and digital ads. 

I have extensive knowledge and am comfortable working with the following systems: 

- Magento & WordPress

- MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, OneNote, SharePoint

- Google Analytics, Search Console, Webmaster Tools, Google Ads

- Social media: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook for business, YouTube

I am a keen team player, as I coached team gymnastics for over 7 years, which required teamwork for safe execution of moves. However, I am also comfortable working independently on my own initiative, as previous positions have been remote where the rest of my team has been overseas. I believe I have good work ethics, ensuring I am professional in whatever business situation I am in, organised, and hardworking. 

A little bit about myself: Creating and immersing myself in new experiences is something I strive for in life, as I have recently moved to Australia from Scotland, have previously volunteered and lived in Sri Lanka, and have been training in circus aerial acrobatics for the past 5 years.
