CULT is a growing, fast paced mid-size private company in the ‘high end’ designer furniture space. With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Auckland, our company is currently going through a growth phase and seeking an upbeat, dedicated individual to join us during this exciting time.

We are looking to recruit a State Sales Manager to take advantage of this unique opportunity to enhance their career whilst working in a vibrant and creative culture, which is at the forefront of the industry.

The Position
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will have demonstrable sales skills, proven business development attributes, and solid experience in the Melbourne designer furniture space. We value a high level of initiative, a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.

The role requires, strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage a tight knit team. The key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Develop leads, new business and customer engagement at market leading levels
  • Execute and regularly review sales strategies
  • Develop and drive new customer acquisition & retention strategies
  • Maintain high level of market awareness
  • Contribute to greater business
  • Responsible for the planning, recruitment, organisation and control of sales and support staff to accomplish specific objectives
  • Establishes and manages effective programs to coach all personnel as required, including but not limited to presentation strategies, competitive and market strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and contracts.

The Candidate
To be the successful candidate for this role, we expect that you possess the following attributes:

  • Proven success of sales and business development, preferably within the ‘high-end’ designer furniture space
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Previous experience and network of clientele within the Melbourne market
  • Proven results in driving a high performing team
  • Strong networking and influencing skills
  • Polished presentation & communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial
