Project 82 is a boutique furniture showroom in Surry Hills with a focus on selling custom-made, locally manufactured sofas and furniture packages to residential & commercial consumers. We’re growing fast with the recent addition of a new showroom in St Peters + the development of our own brands Staple&Co + Design Kiosk.

We’re currently seeking an ambitious, proactive sales consultant to manage residential & commercial enquiries from our Surry Hills showroom. As the role will involve lots of product and design consultation, the ideal applicant will have sound knowledge of design principles, spatial planning and materials, especially fabrics and leathers.

The ideal candidate will:-

  • Have a proven sales track record selling furniture to a discerning market (minimum of 3 years)
  • Be a motivated self-starter who is eager to take ownership of projects
  • Have a friendly, down-to-earth selling approach with strong customer service skills
  • Be process driven with a strong sense of logic
  • Possess exceptional computer skills
  • Be happy to work unsupervised with a strong sense of initiative
  • Be comfortable and accustomed to meeting sales targets
  • Have a natural interest in interior design

The role will –

  • Be based in our Surry Hills retail showroom
  • Offer a great team culture with a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Include 5 days per week Tuesday – Saturday (parking space available)
  • Include a base salary plus sales commission structure
  • Offer great scope for fast-track career advancement for the right candidate
